In addition to being an actress, Gloria Jean was an especially talented singer. She made her entertainment debut singing on the radio at age three, and at age twelve turned in a wonderful performance, both singing and acting, in The Under-Pup in which she appeared with Virginia Weidler. Unlike many child stars, Gloria Jean had a successful film career through her teen years.
